An upright herb with fragrant grey foliage. Insignificant yellow flowers in summer months. Plant in a light, well drained soil in a sunny position. Do not plant near Dill or Coriander as their flavour can be impaired. Wormwood also looks good in a container. Wormwood is useful in beds, borders, and rock gardens, and it makes an excellent foil for bright colors and dark foliage. This plant needs excellent drainage. A native herb with many reputed uses, including repelling moths, counteracting poisons, and as a flavouring for vermouth.
