Fallout 3 can i store things

The Locker I tried to store some items was in the Simms house. Thats indoors and disappears after bout 2 days. I just cant bring myself to sell the items I have, I just KNOW that as soon as I do sell them, Im going to come across someone who either needs them or I will need them to make myself a weapon later on in the game.

I just KNOW it!!!! Just like all that "scrap metal" I had, which I sold for very little Soon after, I come across some dude in Megaton saying he will pay me for any scrap metal I find. I could have made about caps, but I sold it all earlier for about 20caps just to free up some carrying weight. Im starting to think Im doing things the wrong way in this game and maybe I should kite them little bastards all down one alley way and set a few bottle cap mines to blow them all up at once???

Graedus n00b. Joined May 18, Messages Don't worry about explosives skill for the bomb, you only need 25 to either disarm or arm the bomb. There is no chance of "screwing up" really. I like the Megaton house better, faster to get to and has two stories.

But in my current playthrough I went the evil route and got tenpenny. PliotronX 2[H]4U. Joined Aug 8, Messages 2, Maybe it's different on the PC version, but I used the trash cans and NC machines in front of the Super Duper Mart all throughout the game because it was quick to FT to and the free bed under the bridge was easily accessible from here as well.

There are the random spawns of enemies around the SDM and the bridge, but nothing I couldn't handle. Items remained in those three containers all throughout my playthrough. Thanks for all the help and info guys. I disarmed the bomb and got my cozy 2 story dwelling I decided to look more carefully around the newbie areas and found some decent stashes of ammo.

I never thought to look inside the mailboxes or the mail drop boxes DOH!!! I also decided to investigate the Springvale school a bit more closely this time and found some cave I really ought to pay more attention to the info provided by the computers.

The clues given are subtle and ya cant just blast past the reading elements, such as that computer in the school. I hacked that thing the day after Xmas and have had that info all this time but never really soaked it in.

Greadus - Thanks for the info, I do appreciate it, but I do not use mods in my gaming that alter the "norm" of the game. Perhaps after I beat the game, but not before.

Good info. Wished I knew about those Quantums before, heh. Ive already sold bout of them Ive been doing the repair thing with the Raiders ive killed. Thank you all very very much. Now I can stop bugging people on where to buy that darn house. Domingo Fully [H]. Joined Jul 30, Messages 20, There are a ton of Nuka Cola Quantums in the game Granted it seems like they're pretty rare when you're doing the quest for them, but I completed the quest and still have 25 left in storage in Megaton. Specifically, the Brotherhood Scribe Yearling, located within the Arlington Library, who will give 10 XP and bottle caps per book for contributing these to their archives.

Indeed, you can scrap them and receive cloth in return. Pre-War money is most commonly found in cash registers in abandoned stores and shops across the Commonwealth. The primary usefulness of pre-War money is as a trade item, owing to its weightlessness and relatively high value.

The gold bar is a solid bar of gold and holds no use as an item. However, it can be sold for caps or broken down to be used in crafting. Cigarettes can often be found in almost any human NPC dwelling, including farms, raider camps and abandoned houses throughout the Commonwealth. Allows you to smoke the cigars, and cigarettes you find throughout the wasteland.

Also allows you to craft and smoke Joints. Begin typing your search term above and press enter to search. Thank You! I found out that I had to disarm the bomb first in order to get the empty house.

Yeah, get a house in Megaton or stash it in a place you can fast travel too. For example, there is a certain house in big town that has a basement with several lockers.

You can store items there. User Info: ruppfive. Use dumpsters, lockers, crates, boxes ect. User Info: TEI Be very careful when storing in Megaton house, even though very few people have had this problem, all my stuff diseapeared from the lockers, desk, and fridge in the house.

The only container in the house guaranteed not to respawn is the filing cabinet next to your bed. User Info: Ricefarmer I have'nt acquired a house yet User Info: dakinespot. Well if you get a house you can just just ditch stuff in there. Be careful storing items in the My Tenpenny Suite. I stored a ton of stuff in there that I need for quests and such and now everytime I try to return my xbox freezes when trying to enter the tower when it tries to load. I've heard of others having freezing problems in other areas.

There is a memory cache clearing routine suggested but it didn't work for me. User Info: mtopol It'll be safe as long as the title of the container is written in blue. User Info: Jeric My personal stash is ar Meresti Trainyard Fast Travel drops you not ft from a pair of large dumpsters.

Resist clothes , and meds with me, and just pop back to Meresti to repair and dump off scavenged gear and parts. Once completing the quest Those! Fast travel to Grayditch puts you just left of the Abandoned House. Upstairs in this house is a bed you can use freely and a wardrobe cabinet that you can store all your stuff in.
